Well, here’s the ‘grand finale’ of Lindsay and Justin’s Photographer for a Year project. One last time, this was such an enjoyable and fulfilling ‘job’ for me to complete, in the past year [...actually more like 18 months...] I got to be alongside these two as they became MR&MRS, when their duo became a trio and so many other happy little events along the way. And at the end of it all, I’m left with a pretty great friend in Lindsay.
For day two of their mountain weekend getaway, we all bundled up and headed out to one of my favorite Canmore spots for some tobogganing.
Mila’s just the best baby. It was pretty nippy out, but once she got all bundled up, she didn’t make a peep the entire time.
This other happy family is Lindsay’s brother, his wife [& SUPER MOM!] along with their two awesome kiddos, Miles and Molly.
Back to the condo for the obligatory hot toddies.
Mila’s first taste of grown-up food…a pickle, of course!
Lindsay brought her family out to Canmore for a weekend in the mountains. Friday night I swung by their condo for some games, coloring books, a bit of early holiday cheer, nibbles and plenty of oogling and doting over Miss Mila. Tomorrow I’ll share their very last Photographer for a Year session. I just loved this project, I feel pretty lucky to have followed along with Lindsay and Justin for such a monumental year in their lives!
Just a bit of a daddy’s girl, eh?
The Smith family does Halloween right. From what I understand, Halloween has never been much of a special occasion for Tracy…until she met Jimmy – a HUGE Halloween enthusiast. It seems Jimmy has passed along his love of this holiday down to his son and Tracy is a top-notch wife and mum so she plays along like a champ.
Their front yard was definitely the most festive of the entire neighbourhood!
Jack-o-lantern quesadilla and spider brownies for dinner!
Oh man…I don’t think I get through a shoot of this family without at least a few adorable snaps of Camden chowing down. You just can’t get away with taking these sort of photos of adults.
Jimmy created a pretty elaborate haunted house in the garage.
Camden was pretty happy to share his mum’s favorite treat…a very important skill all parents should teach their children at a young age.
