FEATURED. LUXE MOUNTAIN WEDDINGS.
18 Jan 2012I’m so, so, so pleased to see a handful of my images published in the premier issue of Luxe Mountain Weddings. Earlier this year, the publisher Debbie got in touch with me asking if I’d be interested in submitting some work to the magazine. I most certainly was and sent along a link to Amber and Andy’s wedding…she instantly was smitten with the fact that the entire bridal party hit the local pond for a few laps on their ice skates!
I’m so happy to be featured in this publication alongside several talented mountain photographers from across North America, including a couple other Bow Valley locals including Tessa Perkins, John Bonner and Andrew Dickinson who snagged the cover page with a stunning image from a Moraine Lake Elopement. You can peruse the entire magazine online here.
It’s no surprise that this new magazine has been getting a bit of buzz amongst the mountain wedding community. Over the weekend, Christie, from Hindsight Bride, a former mountain bride herself, blogged about her love for the brand new publication. You can order your copy online here.

ONE LAST HURRAH.
5 Dec 2011Our very own bush party camping wedding story is featured today over on Junebug. The gals at Junebug put together absolutely great features, you should head on over and leave some kind words for our mega-kind and extra-awesome photographers: Eunice Montenegro, Christina Craft, Stacey Hedman, Tessa Perkins and Kira Nelson. In addition, they put together an inspiration board with shoutouts to all the pros who helped us out. Also, one last time, I must extend an endless amount gratitude to our family and friends for the hard work, helping hands and many hilarious moments. I know this wedding of ours was beyond unconventional and a heck of a lot of work. I can’t say enough how much all the support we were given means to me, even months later. LOVE YOU ALL.

PUBLISHED. WEDDINGS IN ALBERTA.
9 Nov 2011A couple days ago I came home to a great surprise – a nice shiny stack of the latest edition of Weddings in Alberta. An event I photographed last winter weddings is featured within the pages of this particular issue, Lauren and Neal’s Canmore wedding. Lauren’s family has a second home here in Canmore meaning she and Neal spend lots of their free weekends in this part of the world. She digs the mountains, loves to vintage shop, and enjoys good food, beer and wine. Needless to say the two of us have since become friends, so it was extra neat for me to see the two of them in print. I just LOVE this magazine – the layouts are so professional and clean, the print quality is great…and every last bit of content is so relevant to our local industry.
I’d like to say a real big thank you to Jennifer Bergman who was the wedding coordinator. The day was not only only straight-up lovely, but she also helped to organize the submission for publication. And lastly, my great friend and second shooter for the day, Tessa Perkins was SUCH a help and all-around pleasure to work with.
