THIS WAS 2014.

If you’ve been following along for a few years now, you’ll know that it’s become a bit of a tradition for me to wrap up year by digging through the JWPhoto archives to put together a little collection of my favourite snaps from the year past. […Okay, it's usually pretty long-winded…HIGH FIVE if you make it to the bottom of this one!] Over time, this has become quite an exercise in gratitude; just check out how happy, beautiful and in love all these people are. I sure am lucky to do what I do. So, as always…I must extend a huge thank you to each of the fun-loving, creative and incredibly kind couples who fell in love and invited me to their party here in the Rockies.

This year was a very special one for our family. [CLICK-CLICK for some personal highlights!] We welcomed Little Morris in January. This kid changed the dynamics in our life more than we could have ever imagined. His arrival prompted a beautiful slowdown in so many ways. I was so grateful to keep this business that I love so much up and running as I entered motherhood. At the same time, I was also thankful for a more relaxed pace that inspired us to get out and appreciate family time and our beautiful backyard more than ever before. [Is it just me, or does it seem kind of nuts that my life slowed down considerably when I added a newborn to the mix?!]

As we roll over to 2015 the focus will be much more of the same around here. I am accepting a few more wedding commissions for extra-awesome duos…and am wide open for all you lovely families hoping to be documented here in the mountains.

Here’s to 2015. XOX. Julie.
