KRISTIN+MAX. A WEDDING IN BANFF.

Kristin & Max are a power couple. They met in an organic chemistry class during their undergrad at the U of C. Several years later when they were both attending med school at different universities the two of them reconnected due to a once-in-a-lifetime event. By a stroke of luck, a non-social-networker named Max logged into Facebook, updated his status discussing a topic related to his studies. The statement popped up on Kristin’s wall and she was intrigued, they went on a date later that week and the rest is quite clearly history.

Kristin & Max hosted their wedding at Buffalo Mountain Lodge the weekend before Christmas. It was a chilly day. Actually, not just chilly, but straight up cold. They were of course great sports when it came to braving the conditions throughout the photo shoot thanks to Kristin’s fuzzy coat and cute muclucks. No thanks to Max’s shiny shoes. OUCH. Sorry about the cold toes Max!

The couple has recently returned from a pretty fabulous honeymoon – NYC to ring in 2011 and then a bit of a jaunt down to St. Lucia. Welcome home…here’s your sneak peek!

The girls started the morning off at B-Towne Salon.

I was hoping for a tv for my bedroom for my 11th birthday. My mum wrapped my gift in a tv box. It turned out to be a pillow…a really nice one, but still, not exactly an 11 year old’s idea of a fun birthday present. Kristin wrapped Max’s wedding gift in a Bed, Bath & Beyond box. Not exactly a groom’s ideal gift from his bride. Max turned out to get a bit of a better surprise in his gift box than I did. A San Francisco 49′s helmet! I do beleive he’s kind of a fan.

…I bet Kristin was happy Max didn’t play any funny games when it came to the contents of her little blue box.

I was lucky to have Eric Daigle around to help me out that day. These two photos came from his camera.
